Is Ford building the Ford Ranger and Bronco?
The next few model years are going to be very exciting at Ford dealerships around the United States. Everyone at O.C. Welch Ford Lincoln can’t wait for the newest versions of Ford Ranger and Ford Bronco to arrive at our showroom. Midsize pickup trucks like the Ranger and rugged four-wheel drive SUVs like the Bronco are likely going to be instant hits. Both new Ford vehicles have been sitting on the shelf for a while in the U.S. However, the Ranger has proven to be a continuously popular model in foreign markets like Australia. The new midsize truck joins the Ford EcoSport as another vehicle from the automaker that is being shifted to American after a successful career overseas.
“We’ve heard our customers loud and clear. They want a new generation of vehicles that are incredibly capable yet fun to drive,” Joe Hinrichs, Ford’s president of The Americas said in a press release. “Ranger is for truck buyers who want an affordable, functional, rugged and maneuverable pickup that’s Built Ford Tough. Bronco will be a no-compromise midsize 4×4 utility for thrill seekers who want to venture way beyond the city.”
When can I buy the new Ford Ranger or Ford Bronco?
Unfortunately, O.C. Welch Ford Lincoln customers will have a bit of a wait to take home the new versions of the Ford Ranger or Ford Bronco. Current estimates from Ford Motor Company place the new Ranger midsize pickup truck in the 2019 model year and the Bronco will be available in 2020. Both new vehicles will be made in the United States at the company’s facility in Wayne, Michigan. Not only is it outstanding that these historically important Ford models are returning to our lineup, but given the time frame for their arrival, there is no telling what kind of technology and features will be available.
