2018 Super Duty Engine Lineup

The 2018 Ford Super Duty engine lineup will include Ford’s 6.7-liter Power Stroke turbodiesel V-8 engine. Performance numbers on the engine have increased for the new model year. When equipped with this engine, the truck will now produce 450 horsepower and 935 pound-feet of torque. These numbers are both increased by ten over past version of the engine.

Diesel Super Duty Towing and Payload Ratings

The 2018 Super Duty diesel engine will offer best-in-class towing and payload ratings. When properly equipped, the Super Duty diesel can tow up to 21,000 pounds with a max payload of 7,360 pounds with a conventional hitch setup. With a gooseneck setup, these numbers increase the towing ratings to 34,000 pounds.
